Mahina has returned to Cadinha after completing her MBA at Creighton University where she was a Graduate Assistant providing marketing, client service, and research support to the Faculty of Creighton’s Heider College School of Business. As a former NCAA Division 1 athlete, Mahina is an organized leader with years of competitive experience leading teams through the challenges of collegiate athletics. As a starting setter, her leadership led Creighton’s volleyball team to two successive Big East Championships. As a graduate student, she was selected as the student representative on the prestigious Executive Team of Heider, the decision- making body for Creighton’s Heider School of Business, where her leadership skills were both utilized and further refined. She interned at a National Wealth Management Firm with a multi-billion AUM and helped lead a conversion of financial planning software for the firm. She also interned at Cadinha throughout her undergraduate and graduate studies and is responsible for Micro and Macro research on the Investment Committee.

Mahina holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and an MBA from Creighton University. As an avid reader and lover of the outdoors, she enjoys finding balance in bettering herself and others around her physically, academically, emotionally, and spiritually.
